Lauren Flores

Owner / Company Director

Lauren began dancing when she was 8 years old and began competing when she was 9 years old, training in Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Tap, Contemporary, Lyrical and Modern. She competed with two studios for 7 years before joining her High School Dance Team as a Sophomore. While on the Belles, she choreographed team dances and won several awards for choreography. She then continued to become Captain of the Travis Belles her Senior year.

Lauren graduated from Travis in 2009 and started to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University. While in college, she continued to choreograph team and solo routines for the Travis Belles.

In the summer of 2014, Lauren began working at Forever Dance as the Hip Hop Instructor. Shortly after, she was given the opportunity to create choreography for the Star Dance Company with Forever Dance and became an assistant director. In the summer of 2018, she took over ownership of Forever Dance alongside Krista Presswood. Together they direct the Stars competition team and have won numerous awards. In December of 2018, Lauren graduated from Houston Baptist University with her Masters in Psychology. She has enjoyed watching the students grow over the years and is excited for what the future holds.

In her spare time, Lauren enjoys playing video games, all things Disney, and spending time with her Husband, Abel, their son, her dog and cat!

Krista Presswood

Owner / Company Director

Krista began dancing at just three years old, and her love for the stage only grew from there. In high school, she proudly joined the Terry High School Rangerettes Drill Team, where she trained in Ballet, Jazz, Pom, Military, and Lyrical. Her absolute favorite routines were the high-kick performances, and during her senior year, she served as President of the Social Officer Line; an experience that helped shape her leadership skills and passion for teamwork.

She later attended Sam Houston State University and went on to work as a dental assistant, but dance was always close to her heart. In 2015, Krista brought her triplet daughters to Forever Dance for their very first dance class at three years old. What began as a dance home for her girls quickly became something more. A few years later, she joined the studio team at the Front Desk, and by the summer of 2018, she stepped into ownership of Forever Dance with Lauren Flores.

Today, Krista serves as Studio Owner and co-director of the Stars Competition Team alongside Lauren Flores. She brings a touch of magic and a bit of drama to every routine through her creative passion, always striving to make each performance special and memorable. Behind the scenes, she works tirelessly to keep Forever Dance running like a well-oiled machine; keeping things forever organized, supporting her staff, and constantly seeking new ways to help the studio grow and evolve for the Forever Dance families she cares so deeply about.

In her spare time, Krista loves solving escape rooms, anything Harry Potter or Disney, and most of all, spending quality time with family.

Ella Carter

Instructor

Ella began dancing at just three years old, and over the past 15 years, dance has become far more than an activity — it has become her passion, her creative outlet, and her second home. Growing up at Forever Dance, Ella trained extensively in hip hop, jazz, ballet, lyrical, and contemporary, developing a well-rounded foundation with a special love for hip hop and lyrical, where she feels most connected to musicality and storytelling.

She spent seven years as a competitive dancer, gaining invaluable performance experience, discipline, and confidence through the competition world. During her competitive years with Forever Dance, Ella was honored to serve as a North Star Officer, a leadership role that played a pivotal part in shaping who she is today. Through this experience, she discovered a deep passion for mentoring younger dancers, leading by example, and creating a supportive, encouraging team environment.

Ella’s teaching journey began at an early age. She started apprenticing with Forever Dance at just 12 years old, learning the behind-the-scenes responsibilities of teaching and studio life. By age 15, she was assisting in classes, developing her classroom presence, communication skills, and ability to connect with dancers of all ages. In 2024, Ella proudly stepped into a lead teacher role, a milestone that reflects her dedication, growth, and commitment to her craft.

Now teaching at the studio she calls home, Ella is beyond thrilled to give back to the community that helped shape her as both a dancer and a person. She is passionate about supporting dancers at every stage of their journey — whether they are stepping into the studio for the first time or working toward advanced goals. Ella strives to foster growth, confidence, artistry, and a strong work ethic, all while building fun, meaningful relationships with her students inside and outside the studio.

Hannah McCord

Instructor

Hannah began dancing at the age of 4, and fell head over heels for all things dance! She has studied ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, lyrical, contemporary, and even a little hip hop. She was able to join her studio’s competition team at 7, and competed regionally and nationally for 12 years, receiving numerous overall awards each year. She was then able to take these skills of dancing and performing and land her dream job of dancing down Main Street U.S.A. at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL in 2015.

Hannah found her love of teaching at 14 when she began assisting at her childhood dance studio. Since then, she has taught both recreational and competitive dancers at 2 studios in the Houston area. She is truly excited to continue her journey teaching at Forever Dance and feels so grateful to be part of a studio that values heart, hard work, and growth. Sharing her love of dance with the next generation is something she holds close, and she is passionate about creating a space where every dancer feels seen, supported, and inspired. She is committed to guiding her students with passion, acceptance, and determination—encouraging them to chase their goals while building confidence and resilience along the way. As she pours into her dancers, she also remains dedicated to growing as both an educator and a dancer, always learning, evolving, and striving to be the very best she can be for the Forever Dance family.
