River Johnson

River Johnson first started dancing at the age of 3 at Allegro Academy of Dance in Houston, where she studied Ballet, Tap and Jazz. While there she was a company member and performed almost every roll in their annual Nutcracker over the years. In 2006 She moved to Adamson Ballet School in Katy where she focused on her love of Ballet. Performing solo variations and attending Houston Ballet summer intensives during their off season.

 During her elementary years as a home school student she was able to par take in camps such as NRG Dance, performing at Rockets Basketball half time shows. She joined Camp Broadway, where she danced twice in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. After graduation from Katy High she taught at a competition studio for two years and fell in love with the education side of dance. Helping her students find their passion while improving their technique and strength became one of her own passions. While attending Texas A&M-Corpus Christi where she was working on her dance minor, she was also able to continue her studies in other genres as well as chorography skills. Performing each semester in both professor works, and student works at the TAMU-CC Dance Demo. She was also able to dance and perform for the Corpus Christi Ballet in their productions of Nutcracker and Giselle, fulfilling her love of Ballet and performance, and sharing the stage with other wonderful artist.

 River started working for Forever Dance in August of 2018. Continuing her love for teaching and growing young dancers in a positive and encouraging environment. She cannot wait to share her knowledge and passion for Dance.
