REQUIRED DANCE ATTIRE

Ballet:  All dancers enrolled in Ballet MUST wear a leotard and tights. Leotards may be any color. No crop

tops or leggings. Pink or tan tights are both acceptable and you may wear dance short or ballet skirt in addition to your

leotard if you wish. Hair must be in a bun and away from face.  Shoes:  Pink ballet shoes (split soles for ages 10+)

with pink elastic sewn over the instep.

Pointe & Pre-Pointe:  All dancers enrolled in Ballet MUST wear a leotard and tights. Leotards may be any color. No crop tops or leggings. Jazz:  Any colored leotard, or form fitted top, leggings or dance skirt/ shorts.   Hair: must be out of face in a ponytail or bun    Shoes: Tan slip on Jazz shoes (split soles)

Hip Hop: Any colored leotard, or form fitted top, leggings or dance shorts. Hair: must be out of face in ponytail or bun Shoes: Tan slip on Jazz shoes (split soles) or sneaker (black or white sole only) – You will wear black sneakers for Recital

Drill Prep/ Technique:  Any colored leotard, or form fitted top, leggings or dance shorts. 

Shoes: Tan slip on Jazz shoes (split soles) or sneaker (black or white sole only) – you will wear jazz shoes for Recital

Hair:  must be out of face in ponytail or bun

Lyrical:  Any colored leotard, or form fitted top, tights or dance skirt/ shorts. 

Shoes: Tan Jazz shoes.  Hair:  must be out of face in ponytail or bun

Modern & Contemporary:   Any colored leotard, or form fitted top, tights or dance skirt/ shorts. 

Shoes:        bare feet, Twylas, or Tan Jazz shoes.  Hair:  must be out of face in ponytail or bun

Leaps and Turns:   Any colored leotard, or form fitted top, leggings or dance skirt/ shorts. 

Shoes: Twylas, or Tan Jazz shoes.  Hair:  must be out of face in ponytail or bun

Strength and Flexibility:   Any colored leotard, or form fitted top, leggings or dance skirt/ shorts. 

Shoes: sneakers or barefoot.  Hair:  must be out of face in ponytail or bun

Musical Theatre:  Any colored leotard, or form fitted top, leggings or dance skirt/ shorts. 

Shoes: Tan Jazz shoes.  Hair: must be out of face in ponytail or bun

STUDIO HOLIDAYS

The studio will observe the following holiday schedule.  Classes missed because of holidays will be offset by those months in which there are 5 weeks. In case of Bad Weather Days an employee of the studio will let you know of any closures.

THERE WILL BE NO CLASSES ON:

Labor Day:  Sept. 7th

Thanksgiving Break:  Nov. 25th – 27th

Winter Break:  Dec. 21st – Jan 1st

Spring Break:  Mar. 15th – 19th

Picture Day (tentative): April 10th

Memorial Day :  May 31st

Show Rehearsal Day (tentative): June 4th

Show Days (tentative):  June 5th – 6th

DANCE STUDIO GUIDELINES
The window is provided for viewing purposes.  No Parent or Friends will be allowed in the studio during class time.  This

enables the instructor to provide the best possible instruction for your child without being distracted.

PLEASE DO NOT TAP ON THE WINDOW OR WAVE TO YOUR CHILD.  THIS IS A DISTRACTION FOR

THE WHOLE CLASS.

ATTENDANCE:

  • Students are encouraged to attend class on a regular basis.
  • Students should be on time to class and picked up promptly after class.  If you cannot pick your child up on time please call and inform us so we are aware.
  • Instruct your child to remain inside the building until you arrive to pick them up.
  • Please do not leave any child under the age of 7 years old unsupervised.
  • Please, call and leave a message if your child will not be attending a class.

PLEASE eat and drink only in the lobby area.  Absolutely NO Gum is allowed in the building!!!

No running or yelling is allowed in the lobby and hallway!  PLEASE, LOOK AFTER YOUR LITTLE ONES!

No child should be left unattended in the lobby.  Thanks!

PAYMENT POLICY:

Tuition is due on the first of each month.  You will not be billed, as the tuition is a fixed amount.  All tuition as well as any show, costume or competition team fees must be paid in FULL by the appointed due dates or a late fee will be added to your account. Any accounts 60 past due will have their credit card charged automatically.

15 days late – $10

30 days late – $20

45 days late – $30

60 days late – $40

When you enroll a child with us, you are enrolling him/her for an entire season of classes – i.e., August through the end of the year show.* If your child is unable to attend, the tuition is still due the 1st of the month in order to reserve his/her spot in the class.  We have a waiting list for most of our classes, so please keep us informed.  Please remember that the monthly payment is not related to the number of classes in the month.  The number of classes that occur in any given month depends on the calendar and any holidays that may take place during that month.  Since each month is different, some months will have 3 classes; others will have 4 or 5 classes.  We ensure everything balances out over the year and that your child will attend at least 40 classes.  May and 1/4 June Tuition is combined and will be due May 1st

 Even though you enroll for the full season, we do allow you to drop at any time.  If you wish to drop, please fill out an add/drop form by the 15th of the month, and you will have no further obligation.  Add/ Drop forms can be picked up from the receptionist. Please remember that we MUST to be contacted if your child is dropping his/her class or you will remain responsible for that tuition.

Registration Fee: A fee of $25.00 is due at the time of registration.  Each additional family member that registers will receive $10 of their registration fee.  The first month tuition is due at the time of registration. The registration fee is a non-refundable fee.

Show fee:  There is an annual Show Fee of $50.  For Families with multiple dancers- each additional dancer is $35.  This fee pays for the scenery, backdrop, stage hands, lighting and sound crew, and the auditorium and dressing room rentals, which is all due in advance.  The show fee is a non-refundable fee.

Family Discount: There is a $10.00 monthly discount for each additional dancer in the same immediate family after the first student. 

Returned Checks:  All returned checks must be paid in cash, plus a $30.00 returned check fee. Once returned you may be asked to pay cash for the following months on a case by case basis.
